Highlights
Malouda was the solo scorer for Chelsea in their match against Wigan Athletic on Saturday 9, 2011.  His goal with only 23 minutes remaining brought his team up the leader board to third place.  Manchester City unfortunately was moved down to forth place.

Everyone knows - the manager, the players - that we are playing to save our season - Yossi Benayoun

Michael Carrick and Mark Giggs were the main players that took the victory against Chelsea in the first quarter-final leg of the Champions League.  Manchester United's victory has proven they are the team to beat this year.

Liverpool's bad play could be due to their captain being injured. Steven Gerrard has recently undergone surgery on his groin and will most likely be out of play for the rest of the season.  This includes the Champions League.

All previous games in the Barclay's Premier League were leading up the Champions League.  The top six point leaders will have the opportunity to qualify for the Champions League.
